On Friday, July 29, 2011, The Sams Law Firm obtained an $8 million jury verdict in Gwinnett County in a case arising out of the March 9, 2009 wrongful death of Paul Russell. The Sams Law Firm successfully recovered $1 Million from the federal government when representing a prisoner with a seizure disorder who became paralyzed when he fell off of a top bunk.
